Travelling around Australia in a motorhome. A story of our travels starting from NSW then through Queensland, across to Northern Territory and Western Australia, then to South Australia, Victoria and finally across the seas to Tasmania. We have enjoyed everywhere we have visited and look forward to setting off again in our motorhome.

Nanango 11 August 2013

Clean up our RV and then set off for the short trip to Nanango to have a look around the town and visit Syl's parents. Nanango was a dying town until the construction of a power station and coal mine that has revitalised the town. Being Sunday, we knew that the town would be quiet, but we found all the shops shut and with Monday being a public holiday there would be no shops open til Tuesday. While a nuisance, it means that all the shops workers can have a break with their families. Stopped the night at a short distance from the town at Tipperary Flats.
