Augathella 9 July 2014
Still on the road north and it is getting warmer, although cold this morning it got up to 25o today. Stopped for lunch at Charleville – although it only has a population of 3,500 it is the largest town in the south-west of Queensland and has a good range of facilities. While it is a very isolated town, the people seem happy living there and can’t imagine living anywhere else. We visited the local museum, which had an interesting range of local artefacts.
