Blackall 1 September 2015

We set off early in the morning for Blackall, but didn’t get very far as we had broken the A Frame that towed the car – all the rough roads are very damaging to the vehicles. We drove back into town to get it welded and had another look around. While we were admiring a lovely garden, the owners came out and invited us in for a tour and afternoon tea – country people are so friendly! It made Heather very homesick for her own garden and she is keen to get home and start digging!

Finally got down to Blackall in the afternoon (there’s more than stuffall at Blackall) and headed for the swimming pool that uses hot water straight from the bore. The spa is 36o – heaven!
