Had a final look around Townsville and headed north. Townsville is a small city that has a lot going for it. It has a good range of shops, a great art gallery, some beautiful swimming complexes, peaceful parks and an enchanting board walk that follows the beach for miles. We would happily stay there for a few weeks; however we have booked into Bramston Beach so we must continue our trek. As Rollingstone Beach was too crowded, we stopped in a camp near the town, but this was also very crowded. It seems the grey nomads are satisfied with the climate and prepared to roost here for the winter!
