Maryborough 12 - 13 June 2013

Headed up north, expecting to find a rest area for morning tea, but we ended up not finding a place til lunchtime – very strange. Stopped at Maryborough by the Mary River and went for a walk along the river. We were surprised at how high the water reached during a recent flood and we were told that even the CBD was flooded. Spoke to a fellow who came here to help rebuild the flooded houses and he said tradies were earning $200 an hour!!
